The House

Created upon Love

La vie d’amour qui comprend le sacrifice.

Woman wearing the white Bonacieux silk shirt with the framed cameo embroidered over the heart

Bonacieux is named for a woman remembered for doing the brave part quietly. The house takes her name to set our standard: garments crafted with care, made to last.

We make a small number of pieces and we make them the same way each season. A tee, a shirt, a polo, a dress. Cotton that has been washed before you meet it, silk that hangs rather than shines, seams finished so they can be let out. Colour is chosen once and kept.

The three virtues

Courage

To dress simply in a loud room.

Visage

The clothes end at the collarbone. The rest is you.

Confiance

Crafted to be worn for years and passed down.

The mark

The House Emblem

Two marks, and only two: the script monogram, and the cameo in its oval frame. Each is embroidered small, over the heart, in a single thread colour. Nothing is printed across the back, and nothing is repeated.
